This quilt is of a simple construction, made up from 5 equal width strips joined with straight seams. The quilting patterns are straight forward, no curves or corners to contend with. The patterns are similar to those found on strip and pieced quilts from the North East of England and adjusted in size and proportion for an ideal starter quilt.

Techniques for making the quilt are:

• Strip 1,3,5 a simple cable
• Strip 2 ,4. a running feather and scroll

The pattern sheet is 31.7" x 33.05" (80 cm x 83 cm) and is printed to order using our large, laser printer.

COT QUILT PATTERN

Smaller motifs and a background filling pattern of square diamonds complete the pattern, this quilt has butted edges thus removing the need to bind and mitre the corners on the quilt.

The pattern sheet is 32.4" x 46.7" (82 cm x 119 cm) and is printed to order using our large, laser printer.

SANDERSON STAR QUILT PATTERN

The finished quilt will be 50" x 50" (127 cm x 127cm) and consists of an eight pointed one-piece star, with star point inserts, white infill and alternate borders of blue and white. 

Presented in a 14-page, plastic bound, A4 booklet, the pattern sheets come with full instructions from the designer. 

The quilting patterns are simple and effective with leaves, scrolls and roses forming the basis, and with the borders showing alternate repeated patterns.
