Tempest 5 - Laser Cut Wood Pack

A relatively light and small sport scale model of the famous and pugnacious Hawker fighter. The original 37” model experimented with retracts but as they proved too fragile for general use the drawing (MW3656) shows no U/C, the model being hand launched and belly-landed. It uses an outrunner motor of approximately 160W power on a 2S LiPO, turning a GWS DD 9” x 5” propeller. Tempest can be flown on aileron, elevator and throttle, with an optional rudder.

Building your model from a Traplet 'Laser Wood Pack' semi-kit removes the need to trace and cut your own intricate parts. It will be necessary to purchase additional sheet and strip wood from your local model shop to complete the model.
