North American AT-6 Texan/Harvard (94.25")

North American AT-6 Texan/Harvard (94.25”) Over 15000 T-6 Texans (known as the Harvard outside the US) were built. They were used primarily for pilot training during WWII, but this rugged aircraft was also used in a wide variety of other roles during and after the war. Widely exported, some were still in military operation into the 1990s and hundreds of them are still flying today in private ownership. This 1:5.33 scale, 2.425m wingspan RC three-sheet model plan offers modellers the chance to build and fly any of the variants of this classic training aircraft.

North American AT-6 Texan/Harvard (94.25") Plan

This big three-sheet plan can be used to build any of the variants mentioned and includes provision for the installation of retractable undercarriage and working flaps. The model is of conventional all-wood construction, but a moulded plastic cockpit canopy, engine cowling, undercarriage fairings and a metal propeller spinner are available. A laser-cut wood-pack is also available. Designed to be powered by a four-stroke engine, but experienced modellers may be able to convert it to electric power.
