Full Description
The de Havilland DH-85 Leopard Moth first flew on 27th May 1933, and two weeks later it won the King's Cup Race at Hatfield at an average speed of 139.5 mph, piloted by Geoffrey de Havilland. A total of 133 Leopard Moths were built, and production ended in 1936. A number of the aircraft were pressed into military service in Britain and Australia during the Second World War, where they were used mainly as communications aircraft. Each CD features a multi selection of high-quality close-up detailed photographs to help you with your latest building project.
