Full Description

Designed by John Rutter this is a relatively light and small sport scale model of the famous and pugnacious Hawker fighter. The original 37” model experimented with retracts but as they proved too fragile for general use the drawing shows no U/C, the model being hand launched and belly-landed. It uses an outrunner motor of approximately 160W power on a 2S LiPO, turning a GWS DD 9” x 5” propeller. Tempest can be flown on aileron, elevator and throttle, with an optional rudder.
