MM2077 Halvorsen Seaplane Tender

 

1:12 scale 38 inches long model of a WW2 Australian seaplane tender.

 

Designed by John Parker and Alan Flack, the plan was first featured with full constructional advice and step by step pictures in the 2012 October Model Boats Materials and Techniques Special Edition. The model is built around a plywood framework skinned with balsawood and is suitable for those who have built a wooden model previously.

 

The two sheet plan includes the full-size frames and recommendations for installation of motors and r/c gear. On the water performance is excellent.
