ML111 Medium Tank M4/105mm Howitzer
Due to the vulnerability of open superstructures
of self propelled Howitzers, various U.S. tanks
were fitted with Howitzers to be used as close
support vehicles . The 'Military Modelling'
drawing shows the M4 tank converted. One of
the later variants of one of these vehicles is
preserved at the R.A .C. Tank Museum at
Bovington.
