This is a semi-scale model based upon the Allen M. Sumner class of destroyers built for the U.S. Navy during WW II. The flush decked hull, twin funnels and powerful armament make for an attractive looking warship model.
It features a simple all balsa hull construction with most of the deck being removable for easy access. The superstructure is made from simple balsa blocks. Equipped with a single electric motor and two channel r/c gear, it is a manoeuvrable but safe model to sail.
